The joy of Easter

Health and Wellness
The joy of Easter was celebrated across Uniting AgeWell’s residential and home care services.
Easter services led by our Chaplains were followed by fun and frivolity for all the ages.
In Geelong, our Barwon Home Care Team held an animal farm, an Easter egg hunt and a morning tea which was attended by home care clients, residents from our Kalkee residential aged care communities of Murray and Nangatta and grandchildren and family members. A wonderful event, with a few cute lambs almost stealing Easter Bunny’s thunder!
Meanwhile at Rosetta Community, Strathglen in beautiful Tasmania, residents enjoyed an Easter egg hunt and other games including pin the tail on the bunny!
There were some elaborate costumes including a giant bunny at Kalkee Community Murray and delightful bunny ears and costumes sported by staff and residents at Box Hill Community.
Camberwell Community Condare Court opted for an Easter-style Happy Hour with hot beverages, snacks and Easter eggs. Just look at the beautiful Easter egg holders made during the craft classes.
While over in Melbourne’s west at Manor Lakes Community, residents enjoyed a classical music performance as well as the traditional chocolatey goodness.
