Uniting AgeWell has joined with the UnitingCare Aged Care Network to call on the Federal Government to halt its substantial funding cuts to aged care.

Independent modelling of the impact of the funding cuts by Ansell Strategic found will reduce the funding to support older people in care by an average of $6,655 per resident each year.

Based on this modelling, it’s estimated the changes will take more than $2.5 billion out of aged care services.
