An AgeWell Sunday Worship Resource guide is now available to help Uniting Church congregations prepare for the upcoming Seniors Week celebrations.

Celebrated in early October each year, Seniors Week is a time to recognise the contributions seniors have made and continue to make to society. It is an opportunity to embrace and acknowledge this stage of life.

The AgeWell Worship Resource Guide has been developed by Uniting AgeWell and contains helpful resources including sample services, sermons, scriptures, hymns and topics celebrating the ageing stage of life within the context of faith. These can be adapted to suit individual congregations.

The Guide also has ideas for creating ‘senior friendly’ services and ways to meet the spiritual needs of members unable to attend church.
