Our difference
Cottage Gardens in Mornington is a welcoming community that supports you to live independently while getting a little extra help when you need it.
Features
You’ll have peace of mind and feel supported thanks to our range of amenities and services.
Retirement living designed for you
We offer eight Community Housing units and seven Social Housing units with an affordable fortnightly rental fee. Each unit has one bedroom, a lounge room, handy kitchenette and accessible bathroom.
Social Housing units also have access to private laundries while Community Housing residents share a common laundry.

Stay connected
Cottage Gardens is located in a quiet and safe area yet offers a world of convenience. The bus stop is right outside, or you can choose to drive to nearby Eastland Shopping Centre, Shoreline Plaza or the Hobart CBD.
Life’s little comforts
Residents may choose to enjoy chef prepared meals, for an extra cost, from our co-located residential care facility Mornington Community, Lillian Martin. Visit our on-site cafe, mini mart, chapel space or book in at the hairdressing salon. Property-wide maintenance is also taken care of by our friendly team.
Wellbeing made easy
Cottage Gardens is a four-minute walk from our Hobart AgeWell Centre, also known as the Cottage Club. The Cottage Club offers social connections programs and enriching activities to help you maintain your physical and emotional wellbeing. We are also a 5-minute drive from the Uniting AgeWell Community Hub and AgeWell Gym in Rosny Park.
